With up to a 1,200 watt peak power rating, the CompVX is purpose-built to handle massive amounts of bass. The forged Aluminum frame, creates an ultra-stable base that also pulls heat from the motor. Perimeter venting in the back bracing and along the spider landing provides max air flow. The ceramic magnet and extra stout voice coils do more than handle massive power. High-temp dual voice coils deliver the power, while a solid pole piece provides more mass to subdue additional heat. A T-cut top plate creates a wider magnetic field for stronger bass response, and better sound. The CompVX 10-Inch Subwoofer works best with a sealed or ported enclosure and 600 watts of recommended power.
