Introducing the fourth generation of our acclaimed E series, refreshed for 2020. Since the debut of the E series in 2012, we have continuously pushed the boundaries of entry-level woofers. Traditional entry-level woofers often fall short in linear excursion, mechanical ruggedness, and thermal performance. With the E v.4, we’ve elevated these standards once again.

This update brings a custom-tooled, stronger stamped steel frame and an improved directional forced-air cooling spacer. A double-stacked magnet structure and an extended voice coil provide a class-leading linear X-max of 14mm one-way, with over 2″ of peak-to-peak mechanical clearance. The E v.4 series features a full 2.5″ diameter coil, upgraded from the 2″ coil of earlier models.

We’ve also enhanced the tinsel leads to “Mini-XL” with 63 strands of conductor, significantly reducing the risk of failure due to amplifier clipping. The high-strength poly-cotton blend spider is bolted and glued to the frame for maximum durability, capable of handling the motor’s full capacity.
